| Clean Tweezers after each use.
|
| Disinfect tips of tweezers in
alcohol. |
| Protect the tips of tweezers
with cap and keep in storage box or tube. |
| Spring tension can be increased
by gently pulling the two halves of the tweezer apart. Once you have
increased the spring, you cannot decrease it. |
| Never drop tweezers. Dropping
will dull the tip and throw your tweezers out of alignment. |
|
Five Easy Steps To Accurate Tweezing
|
Brush hair in the direction of
hair growth.
Isolate the hair you are about to tweeze.
Tweeze in the direction of hair growth.
Pull one hair at a time.
Pull gently and smoothly, making sure not to yank. |
|
The shape of your brow should
follow the natural line of your brow bone. The arch should be highest at the
outer corner of the pupil. To determine where the brow should begin, place a
pencil straight up from the side of the nostril. To determine where it
should end, hold the pencil diagonally against the outer corner of the eye
pointing up to the brow bone.Brow should extend slightly beyond the eye at
which point it should taper slightly down. |
| |
|
Not Sure How Much to Tweeze? |
| Be sure to step back from your
mirror and check your brows periodically. Tweeze a few hairs from one brow
and then the other so they remain symmetrical. Remember that it's better to
tweeze too little than too much. |
| |
|
Do's and Don'ts |
Do tweeze in the direction of
hair growth.
Do open your pores with a hot washcloth to make tweezing easier.
Do use a make-up concealer to draw your desired brow shape, then tweeze the hairs that fall below the line.
Don't use creams or moisturizers that can cause the tweezer to slip.
Don't tweeze nose hairs or hairs growing out of moles |

Relieve Painful Ingrown Toenails
|
To help eliminate the painful
irritation of ingrown toenails follow these steps:
File top of nail with a Sapphire Nail File to reduce thickness of nail
before bathing.
After bathing and while nails are soft, use a Toenail Nipper to cut nail.
Cut in a
number of small cuts rather than a large single cut.
Gently slide our Ingrown Toenail File under nail. File works in reverse and
will
shave under nail as you pull out and up.
If infection or swelling is present, see a podiatrist.

Steps For a Manicure at
Home |
| File nails to shape and buff
away any imperfection. |
| Moisturize nails, cuticles and
surrounding area. Soaking hands in warm water orapplying a warm cloth helps
to lock in moisture. Gently push back the cuticle with our patented Pushy,
Cuticle Pusher and trim hangnails using our Stainless Cuticle Nipper. Do not
cut live skin. Blend polish by rolling the bottle between your palms.
Shaking causes air bubbles. Start with base coat. Let it dry for three
minutes. Apply two coats of color. Work from base of nail to top. Add a top
coat to lock in color. |

Working with Artificial Nails |
When working with artificial
nails, you need a specially designed Acrylic Nail Nipper.
This Nipper is extra durable and is guaranteed not to break when cutting
acrylics. |

|
Should I Cut My Cuticles? |
| We do not recommend cutting
live, healthy cuticle tissue. Instead, ease back cuticles with our patented
Pushy, Cuticle Pusher that will not scratch the nail. If cuticles are rough
and visibly in need of removal, use one of our precision Nippers or Cuticle
Scissors to trim the dead cuticle tissue. |

Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About
Blackheads |
A blackhead is a plug of your

It can result from several causes including such things as:
Lack of water in your system.
The production of excess oil.
Excess dead skin cells blocking the opening of the pore.

The type of make-up you are using.
